we have had over 2 feet of snow!!! it is gorgeous out.

i think school will be in session tomorrow. samuel only has school till 1130. Christmas party all day! woohooo!!!

then it is Cmas break and my fave service at church, candle light Christmas eve service!

we have had about a foot of snow since sunday night and they say more to come!

boys had no school yesterday and NAU was even closed! it was a fun day with everyone home!

the boys schools are cancelled today too!!!

i made home made beef stew yesterday and today we will make ginger cookies!

i wanted to post about the boys.

they are growing up like mad and i am so proud of them.

also i wanted to show grandpa juan carlos a few pics i have neglected to get to him. he had sent a box of new legos and the boys had a blast putting them together!!

now. a few stats,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

elijah will be 13 in jan. he is 110.5 pounds and is 5’7.5

jadon will be 10 in march and is 84.5 pounds and 61 in. tall

samuel will be 7 in jan. and is 57.5 pounds and 52 in. tall.

i think in like 40 or something days barack obama has his inauguration.

after that things will change i am sure, one way or the other.

i have a sinking feeling the issues i care most about will have the laws and legislation we have fought for reversed.

these issues are–

stem cell research

abortion

marriage

religious freedom

education choice

in the long term i know alot we have stood for will be contested and eventually taken away. freedoms and rights stripped away.

maybe not this administration or even the next. maybe not in my life time or my kids life time, but sooner  or later it will happen.

BUT we should never back down, never let up, never give up. i will always fight for truth, for what i believe in.

even though it will get harder, who is on my side?
