week 2 is here!!
we are starting off today a bit more intense and more work oriented.
we have done 3 spelling/vocab sheets.
we will be doing some reading and then a lesson in our 3rd grade assessment book.
later will we do some sentence writing and a cooking project.
after we pick up the brothers we will head to the library.

my cousin mary just called to tell me her son jeff, the older one.
he has a brain tumor. he went in for surgery yesterday and they believe they got it all out, plus a cyst they found. he did have a seizure after the surgery and is now in bed and on medication.
they are down in phoenix.
please keep them lifted up in prayer.

it has been awesome so far!!
yesterday we took it mellow and went swimming for PE. did some reading.
today is kick boxing in the morning, then the library and a few errands. Bible and then art after.

Zion Home school has commenced today.
it is our first day.
we started with prayer and are moving on to assessments.

God is stretching our family and it is AMAZING!!!
we are thinking of putting elijah into private Christian school for jr. high.
we are thinking of bringing samuel home to HS too now.
but it is all up in the air for now.
time and prayer will tell.

a journey is beginning………..
our family is on a new road soon and it will be an adventure for sure! i am listening to the LOTR soundtrack as i write this and it is fitting.
we as a family are taking a long road, a journey. one we have never taken.
very soon, maybe as early as mid march, we are taking jadon out of public school and starting homeschool.
it will be a learning experience for all of us but i am certain this is what God wants us to do.
i know jadon will benefit.
and as it happens(more will of God) i am quitting my job at late for the train on monday. i am not sure how many more days i will be there. i liked the job and the people but it is not a place i can work anymore.
i am thankful to be blessed with God’s provision right when i need it.
