snowing, time to make syrup!
i am home today from work(yippie!) with two marginally sick boys. one has a little fever, one has a stomach problem.
but it is snowing and is supposed to all day!!
so i am making pancake/waffle syrup. yum!

we spent last weekend in tuscon with juan carlos and pam. what fun! there house down there is coming along. every time they are out they upgrade or decorate a little more. it is a really neat old house that has tons of potential.
and i got to go to trader joe’s!!! such a treat!! thank you again pam and juan for the relaxing and enjoyable time.

just a few more days of Christmas vacation for the boys. today we made volcanos out of baking powder and vinegar! elijah started his search for a science project. after much web hopping he found something that held his interest. he is going to prove you can make a square soap bubble. should be an adventure!
i made another blackberry pie yesterday. it is so good, i am going to go have another piece in a few minutes. i finally found 4 recipes that had all the elements i would do for a berry pie. so now i can write my own recipe and follow that with out fail!
2008 has 2 MAJOR events for our family. my brother is getting married! my bro in law and his wife are having their first baby!
we made the invitations for elijah’s birthday party, so he can hand them out next week. it will be on saturday. which is 2 days before samuel’s birthday. we will have his party the next saturday.
elijah will be 12. yep. let that sink in. 12. whew.
samuel will be 6. my youngest is 6. wow. it’s alot.
