atitude adjustment!
When we are born again, the Holy Spirit begins to work His new creation in us, and there will come a time when there is nothing remaining of the old life. Our old gloomy outlook disappears, as does our old attitude toward things, and “all things are of God” (2 Corinthians 5:18 ). How are we going to get a life that has no lust, no self-interest, and is not sensitive to the ridicule of others? How will we have the type of love that “is kind . . . is not provoked, [and] thinks no evil”? ( 1 Corinthians 13:4-5 ). The only way is by allowing nothing of the old life to remain, and by having only simple, perfect trust in God— such a trust that we no longer want God’s blessings, but only want God Himself. Have we come to the point where God can withdraw His blessings from us without our trust in Him being affected? Once we truly see God at work, we will never be concerned again about the things that happen, because we are actually trusting in our Father in heaven, whom the world cannot see.

an amazing sunday
below is a picture of our pastor presenting fed with his sword during the commissioning service. The sword represents the Word of God. There were a total of 12 guys that got commissioned October 7th. What does it mean to be commissioned? Well it comes from II Tim 2:2 – “And the things that you have heard from me among many witnesses, commit these to faithful men who will be able to teach others also.”
A commission is an authorization and command to act in a prescribed manner and to perform prescribed acts. It is a charge giving authority to act for, or in behalf of or in place of another. Please visit Lamb of Gob Bible Church website. There are links to listen online every Sunday, and also a link to our Faithful Men Ministries retreat we had October 5-7th.
On the 7th day of October, 2007, you are hereby commissioned to make disciples of all men according to the standard set for by our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. You are now entrusted with the message and ministry of taking the gospel to the men of this generation, around the world. You are to declare the standard for men that “manhood and Christlikeness are synonymous.”
i am so proud of fed. he has turned into an amazing man of God and a great father and husband because of that.
my week has been insane and busy and i am so tired but it is over now, thankfully!
mellow weekend ahead.
love to you all,
