hi everyone!!!!

today is gonna be fun.

my friends, ann, melissa and colleen are all coming over for coffee and girl time! i miss them all so much and am really happy to get to spend some time with them.

also elijah gets back form camp today! i can’t wait to hear how it went.

not too much in store this weekend, except church in the forest.

that will be really neat.

hello everyone, hope you all are doing well.

life here is great, going by fast and tiring!

the boys first full week of school was great. they are all liking their teachers and so far so good.

samuel is really into it and doing well.

jadon likes his teacher and will be playing the violin again his year.

elijah goes to 6th grade camp this week called camp colton. it is up the mountain and will be a wonderful learning experience for him. he is playing the viola again this year.

my job is going really well. i trained on the espresso machine friday and that was way fun. i am liking the people and the work.

i am starting a Bible study on tuesday nights in a few weeks. i am so excited about that.

fed is doing good, nothing to much to report.

well folks, our first full week of school and work is starting tomorrow. i am excited and a bit nervous, just for the whole on my feet all day thing. it was hard the first two days but it is getting easier. i loved training on the register, talking to people and the fast paced atmosphere. the people i work with are really nice and i am having fun. i will be learning all the barista stuff soon. that will be really FUN.

the kids are doing well. everything is just coming together. elijah goes to camp colton in a week or so. it is 6th grade camp. sounds like a blast. this will be his first time at any over night camp. i know he will love it.

in other news fed is doing well at work. they offered him a new position that will start up in october for a probationary period of a year. then it will turn to full pay and a  new title! it is exciting for him and really a neat opportunity for him. he will be doing more server stuff and not the end user stuff. it will be different and good for him.

we had a crazy moment. our snake george bit elijah when we were taking her out to fee her. it was the first time that has ever happened. it scared us both and elijah has a few little teeth marks on his finger. the snake is all fed now and fine again.

school starts today. samuel has  a little meet and greet, then he will go over to his friends while i am at work.

i start my training today and am excited and anxious. it will be different and new.

i am waiting to see how the whole thing will work out. like timing and scheduling, etc.

well the manager at the fort valley store called and i am IN! i get paper work tomorrow and then start training aug. 16th.

i will be doing sandwich making(ugh) and ordering for the store. i hope to learn the barista stuff too.

dang, life has been a bit crazy the past few days. mon and tuesday jadon just went wild. he has not been listening, has been fighting/bugging his brothers and their friends. he has told me he does not want to go back to marshall, his school. so i am wondering if all this acting out is from his anxiety over school starting. he does like school but it is hard for him. fed has been doing so good with him and i really need to step up my firmness. i just do it all day and it is draining. but it has only been 2 days. he has been great all summer. so i hope once school starts and we get into the routine, he will be ok.

i have been praying for his new teacher and class mates. i know God made jadon just the way his is for a reason. he is a special and neat kid. i hope this school year it all clicks and he can really flourish.

another up and down has been the job thing………the girl who hired me called a few hours later saying she could not hire me. that my hours did not work once she checked her schedule.

SOOOOOO, i had another mini interview at another location of late for the train. the manager there said he would call in the next few days to let mw know if he can hire me.

so we will see.

well this is the last full week of summer for the boys. school starts august 16 and they are excited to go back.

we have a mountain of supplies and new back pack for S and new lunch box for E. THANK YOU mom for all the stuff you got the boys. they are blessed to have you as a grandma.

i am trying to get to san diego friday. i have a plan but it has been frustrating to get it.

i have no idea if i should go or not. i want to but am torn. i don’t have a full peace about it yet. so we will see.

anyway, not too much else is going on except i am meeting the manager from late for the train this morning to see when i will start work and all that.

well the weekend is almost upon us and we have a full one.

on friday eve we have a run thru for the back pack give away, which is on saturday.

it will be an almost all day thing.

we give away back packs filled with school supplies to kids in our church neighborhood.

this year we are planning on giving away 1200 of them.

and then on sunday, i drive with the boys to get samuel in havasu.

fed is staying home. he has  a double header in softball. i am bummed we are missing that.

school starts on august 16 and we are getting all the supplies together.

elijah knows who his teacher is, we got a letter from her. sounds like 6th grade will be a blast for him.  they have not put up the class lists for kindergarten yet.

so summer is winding down. sad.
